Dr. Schott was born and still resides in Cincinnati with his wife. He graduated from the Ohio State University in 1986, earning his Doctor of Medicine Degree. Dr. Schott completed his Internship from the Riverside Methodist Hospital in 1987. His Residency was completed in 1990 at the Eastern Virginia School of Medicine, specializing in Ophthalmology. Dr. Schott's Fellowship in his subspecialty of Glaucoma, was completed at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 1991, where he was also appointed to the medical faculty. Dr. Schott has been in numerous research projects designed to develop and evaluate new treatments for Glaucoma. His professional affiliations include the AMC, AAO, AMA, CSO, OOS, and the OSMA. Dr. Schott is licensed through the States of Ohio and Kentucky and Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology since 1991.
