Mark H. Gooch, M.D.

Dr. Mark Gooch is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and native of Northern Kentucky. He graduated from Beechwood High School in 1972 and later attended the Ohio State University on a golf scholarship. After graduating in 1976 with a B.A. in Economic History, he attended the University of Louisville School of Medicine, graduating in 1980. He did his internship at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1981 and residency in Ophthalmology at Indiana University from 1981-1984. Since then, he has practiced general Ophthalmology in Fort Thomas, Kentucky from 1984-1988. In September of 1988, he moved his practice to Cincinnati. He presently practices with Dr. Robert Werner in the Deaconess Hospital Medical Building in Cincinnati and also shares an office in Union, Kentucky. He is a member of Tri-State Centers For Sight and served on the board from 1996-2003. He currently chairs their Quality Assurance Committee. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Ohio Ophthalmological Society, and the Northern Kentucky Medical Society. He is married to Linda Gooch, a Family Physician in Walton, Kentucky. They have two children, Brian and Paige Gooch.
