One of the first surgeons in Cincinnati to offer CK, Conductive Keratoplasty for the reduction or elimination of reading glasses, Dr. Michael S. Halpin has been providing eye care needs to the tri-state since 1979. Dr. Michael S. Halpin attended the University of Kentucky where he received his B.S. from 1966-1971.
Dr. Halpin continued at Kentucky where he earned his medical degree in 1975. Dr. Halpin completed his internship at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Covington, Kentucky and his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Dr. Michael Halpin joined his brother John in practice in Northern Kentucky where they have been practicing together since 1979. Surgeons, American Medical Association, Northern Kentucky Medical Society, Cincinnati Academy of Medicine, Cincinnati Society of Ophthalmology, Kentucky State Medical Association, and the Ohio State Medical Association. Dr. Michael S. Halpin continues to stay on the forefront of technology offering his patients CUSTOM CORNEA LASIK, better known as "custom" LASIK. Dr. Halpin also performs Conductive Keratoplasty (CK) for the reduction or elimination of reading glasses. His sub-speciality interest is in all aspects of cataract and refractive surgery.
