Dr. Poon was born in St. Louis, Missouri and now resides in Cincinnati with his wife. He graduated in 1976 from the Ohio State University, earning his Doctor of Medicine Degree. Dr. Poon went on to complete his Internship at the Good Samaritan Hospital in 1978 and then his Residency in 1981 from the Indiana University Medical Center. His professional affiliations include the CAM, OSMA, AAO, and the CSO. Dr. Poon is licensed though the State of Ohio in Ophthalmology and Board Certified since 1982 from the American Board of Ophthalmology.
