Dr. Saif Jaweed, Board Certified Ophthalmologist is Halpin-Poweleit Eye Centers' newest addition, joining the practice in July 2003. Dr. Jaweed was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio where he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Toledo in 1994.

Dr. Jaweed continued his education at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio earning his medical degree in 1998. Dr. Jaweed completed his internship at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1999. Dr. Jaweed went on to complete his residency at the University of Cincinnati in 2002. Following his residency Dr. Jaweed completed a fellowship in refractive surgery at the University of Cincinnati under Dr. Adam Kaufman and LCA-Vision from '02-'03.
